It's a good size and not too hard, my wife commented that it has a nice and soft feeling when inside her and not rigid like other toys. She likes how it is tapered so the base is nice and big and stretches her nicely. Only downside is the bumps and knobbly bits are not so pronounced so she doesn't really feel them and the colour is a little off putting (memories of Pete's Dragon spring to mind) But over all a great toy.
