Got this to expand our selection of pain inflicting items. It works! From playful slaps (oooh - giggles) to full power thwacks that cause roars of pain and leave delightful rectangular red marks and bruising this paddle is the business. She enjoys using it and I enjoy the application and results, sitting down afterwards giving a lovely reminder of the event. Apparently the diamond checkered side leaves a more pleasing pattern than the smooth side but I couldn't see that, I was too busy crying into the pillow.

It's probably the best paddle I've used and is well worth the slight premium. It leaves a fantastic mark (just like the pattern you can see in the picture) and feels very high quality. It's a very good size - 14.5 inches is about the perfect size to be effective!

On the receiving end of this as well as a crop, this gives you decent impact. I did expect it to be heavier going by reviews before buying, I'm not an experienced sub but not beginner and think this would honestly suit a beginner, though that lands on the hands of the person giving punishment on how hard this whacks you.

The paddle has a lovely faux leather look to it and gives a lovely thuddy slap. I think a previous review said its not for beginners and I totally agree! If you're not used to impact play take it slowly cause it could leave even the most hardcore masochists gritting their teeth. Overall I'm very pleased with the quality of the product and I can't wait to use it more.

This silicone paddle is lovely to hold and makes a perfect slap! Its patterned one side and flat on the other with imitation stitching as if it's leather - it doesnt make much of a difference to the hit but it does look good. It is rather weighty which give it a good swing but be careful though as this is not for beginners as it gives a quite a sting - I like being hit with whips but this is maybe a bit too much if you're partners not well practised with a whip! Once he had this right, the sting is good and leaves a lovely red mark.
