The LELO Soraya 2 is easily the most luxurious toy in my bedside drawer. Forgetting the brand and price point, its appearance alone is enough to show this is a high-quality vibrator. The blue is absolutely beautiful (a nice change from pink and purple) and the metal detail creates a stunning contrast. Honestly, it feels a bit of a shame to hide it away in its storage bag (LELO include a satin bag in the box and I use this to store the USB charging cable too; the bag is a nice touch and it's handy to keep both the toy and cable together).
I'm quite picky when it comes to rabbits; either the clit stim's angle isn't right, the vibrations aren't strong enough or I find the main body too bulky and uncomfortable. For this reason, I tend to sway towards clitoral stimulators as I know they'll deliver. However, if any rabbit was going to make me climax, I knew it would be this one.
LELO have improved the shape for the Soraya 2 - and I'd be tempted to say it's pretty perfect. The main body is a good size while still being small enough to not jab, poke and prod you every time you move. Meanwhile, the external arm is flexible so you avoid the ‘one size fits all' conundrum of sacrificing either G-spot or clitoral stimulation (is there anything worse than being halfway to orgasm and realising you're not quite hitting the spot on either areas? Perhaps when a vibrator dies mid-play - but more on that later).
So far, so good! I turned on the vibrations and was welcomed by an alternating, pulsating, rising and falling blend of orgasmic promise. Let me say: I have never had a vibrator with such an incredible choice of modes. There are four new choices with the Soraya 2 and every one of the 12 modes has earned its place. You can tell this isn't a "let's chuck in a few more settings" but instead a carefully considered process, resulting in an impressive selection that promises something for everybody. My favourite alternates the vibrations between the body and external arm - I orgasmed in less than five minutes and even if I hadn't, a climax that good would be well worth the wait.
I love that you can pick a mode and then adjust the intensity of the vibrations. The three-button controls are easy to use, although it might be nice to have a back button when you're picking your mode. I'd also like to see the lights behind the buttons remain on during use; they flash when you press a button but require you to know which button is which if you're playing under the sheets (I suppose this is another bonus of having only three to memorise).
The Soraya 2 isn't incredibly powerful, but the vibrations are so quiet that it's a fair trade. This is the sort of rabbit you can use if you have housemates, thin walls or if you simply don't like the distracting, thunderous rumble so many sex toys seem to have.
Don't forget to give your Soraya 2 a charge before use. The buttons light up to show you when it's charging and the battery delivers up to four hours of play (YUP, there's a hell of a lot of fun to be had between each charge). Too many orgasms have been ruined by rubbish batteries - but no more!
Yes, the Soraya 2 is expensive - there's no denying that - but you really do get what you pay for. This rabbit laughs in the face of so many other options on the market and, if high-quality pleasure is what you're after, this is your bunny.
