Being half the price of some of the others that seemingly looked very similar I was expecting it to be a bit fragile and easily bent but its surprised us! The velcro straps are nice and soft but strong enough to hold wrists and ankles where you want them, and the bar is nicely padded but strong enough that it doesn't bend even when your subject is wriggling around trying to escape. It's not the widest of bars and I'm sure experienced hands might want something a bit more "industrial" and extreme but for a bit of light bondage its ideal
