The very first thing you should do is an allergy test. While you might be excited to try out all your new wax play goodies as soon as you get them, you won’t want to deal with an allergic reaction. Not the kind of pain play we’re going for! If you’re both new to bondage candles, we also suggest that you both try the candles and experience the drips, so both parties know what it feels like. Once you’ve got the go-ahead, start slowly, experimenting with distance till you find what suits you. We recommend you start about 30cm away from your lover’s body and stick to wide flat areas of the body till you’re both more acquainted with the practice. Make sure you don’t get too <\/em>close. The closer you get to your partner’s skin, the less time the drops have to cool before they hit your chosen target. You’re not trying to give your partner burns.
