The fear is that by 2060 the elderly will account for a whopping 40% of Japan’s population, leaving those working with the burden of caring for their elders.

The article talks about “sex” but it sounds to me like the only “sex” actually being talked about is heterosexual intercourse because that’s the one that leads to babies.
